Last year, the overall pass percentage of Tamilnadu SSLC exam was 86.2%. But this year, Tamilnadu has broke the record. The overall Pass Percentage of Tamilnadu SSLC exam 2013 is 89%.

Girls again stand leading by getting overall percentage of 92%. Boys have passing percentage of only 86%. The exam was of total 500 Marks and many students have got top ranks this year. Around 9 students have scored 498 sharing the First place. 52 students scored 497 sharing the second place. And about 136 students have scored 496 sharing the third place.

Students scored 100% results in Tamil, Mathematics, Science and Social. Here is the details of students who scored well:

Tamil: 50 students scored 99% 

Mathematics: 29905 students scored 100% 

Science: 38154 students scored 100% 

Social: 19680 students scored 100%.
